How old were you when you were born? Of course the original creation was created mature, or fully functional, but if something was created on Day 1, it was a day old by Day 2 and so on...

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for stopping by. If God thinks that animal death is a very good thing, then I think we have a problem (at least, I do). However, the Bible tells us that one day there will be no more death (including animals). If that is the ideal world, then why didn't God create it in the beginning? Why would he create something that is less than ideal?

As for your first question-- If God created the earth with animal death and he said that it was very good; it seems that since God is perfect and he created the earth exactly how he wanted to so that it would function properly, His Creation is also perfect.

Hi Ken, I'm not sure I understand your answer. "We are assuming these animals were to be found outside of the flood region." Okay, then why would they be extinct due to the flood? The only reason they would have been extinct is if they were inside the flood region, and it's hard to believe that there would have been any animals that were absolutely limited to that particular area.

God couldn't have sent the animals to noah after the flood because they would've been extinct due to the flood. We are assuming these animals were to be found outside of the flood region. So it is logical for those certain animals to be brought onboard the ark.
