A letter to the Global Church from the Protestant Church of Smyrna

On April 18, 2007 several members of the “religion of peace” tortured, disemboweled and slit the throats of three Christians in Turkey. I’m a little late in writing about this, because I just learned of it recently. We prayed for the families of the martyrs at church today. The Protestant Church of Smyrna has asked believers around the world to pray that someday at least one of the murderers will come to faith in Christ because of the testimony in death of Tilman Geske, the German missionary, and the testimonies in death of Necati Aydin and Ugur Yuksel, the first martyrs for Christ out of the Turkish Church. I’ll certainly be praying for this as well as for Muslims all over the world to wake up to the reality of what their religion is all about and that justice will be served in this and all other terrorist attacks all over the world.
