I have seen it on some blogs, they usually do it so they can take over the "web address" by just posting 1 comment.

Well, your info might get deleted again...I changed the cookie expiration date, so it should keep your information for a year now, but that will only take effect when the cookie is renewed. Have I told you lately, Bob, how much I appreciate your input and encouragement?

They're not getting through, it's just annoying is all. As for the blog "forgetting" you, that is apparently a "feature." It has been happening ever since I upgraded to WordPress 2.5. I get logged out of the admin panel every 2 weeks or so (the cookies may have a short expiration date on them). Of course, I switched the server's php to suphp around the same time, so it could have something to do with that. I'll have to look into it further. There may even be a setting in WordPress.

I haven't had those problems. You might want to add Disqus to your blog Casey.. that way commenters would know when someone comments using their name.. check Shane's blog - http://caffeinatedthoughts.com/ for more info.

Not sure why but your blog forgets who I am and lately I usually have to reenter my info.

Happy weekend, Bob
