As for the blog "forgetting" you, that is apparently a "feature." It has been happening ever since I upgraded to WordPress 2.5. I get logged out of the admin panel every 2 weeks or so (the cookies may have a short expiration date on them). Of course, I switched the server's php to suphp around the same time, so it could have something to do with that. I'll have to look into it further. There may even be a setting in WordPress.
