Blog readability
Happy New Year!
The following website claims to be able to evaluate the level of education required to read your blog. It says mine requires a high school education. I’m not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed. Do I simply have a reader-friendly style, or am I incapable of writing at a university level despite my…ahem…hard work at university?

That’s at least better than the result I’m getting, which is “We were unable to check the URL you entered.”
Good to have you back, brother.

Nice to be back.
I missed my pillow.
Hehe – I would say that is a good thing.
I, sadly, require a genius to understand me
I’m not sure that is entirely accurate – but I do try and get a little deeper in my posts
mulledvine is college (undergrad)!
mulleddiary is genius!?
mulledwritings is genius!???
I wouldn’t read too much into it!
Who’s to say you’re not a genius, Mulled Vine?
All depends if he’s got a rather messy desk.
As it happens I do have a messy desk, but given that mulleddiary is essentially photos… I think the algorithm might be flawed. Perhaps they’ve taken the “a picture paints a thousand words” saying too literally! :-D
If it makes you feel any better Casey, I think Mulled Vine is right and that the algorithm is a bit suspect… I know it doesn’t check your whole blog and basically bases the rating on what’s on your main page. I ran mine through every day for a couple of weeks a while back just out of curiosity. I got everything from grade-school to genius, depending on what was up on the main page. I’m currently getting a Jr. High rating. It takes a real dive when I have a post up in ‘Jacqui-speak’. You’re a genius in my book ; )
P.S. Stick a couple haiku poems on your main page… you’ll be a genius in no time!
Aw shucks. Thanks, childlife.
Jr. High School right here boy!!
