500 scientists refute global warming dangers

The global warming alarmists claim that no real scientists doubt global warming. They’re disingenuous when they say this, because what people do doubt is the idea that global warming is man-made and the idea that it is irrefutably a bad thing. In fact, more than 500 scientists have published evidence refuting the current man-made global warming scare, according to a new analysis of peer-reviewed literature by the Hudson Institute.

The newest analysis was released by Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Dennis Avery, who said of the 500 scientists who have refuted at least one element of the global warming scare, more than 300 have found evidence that a natural moderate 1,500-year climate cycle has produced more than a dozen global warmings similar to the current circumstances since the last Ice Age and that such warmings are linked to variations in the sun’s irradiance.

“This data and the list of scientists make a mockery of recent claims that a scientific consensus blames humans as the primary cause of global temperature increases since 1850,” he said.

“Two thousand years of published human histories say that the warm periods were good for people. It was the harsh, unstable Dark Ages and Little Ice Age that brought bigger storms, untimely frost, widespread famine and plagues of disease,” he said.

Other researchers have found evidence that sea levels are failing to rise importantly, storms and droughts are becoming fewer and milder and human deaths will be reduced with warming because cold kills twice the number of people as heat. Another result was that corals, trees, birds, mammals and butterflies are “adapting well” to the routine reality of changing climate, the analysis said.

The argument should no longer be over whom or what is causing global warming. To me it seems quit clear that it is certainly not man-made but what is clear is that we need to be better stewards of our planet. Christians should be the best environmentalist in the world being we know who made this world! The energy crisis is an issue that must be dealt with as well or we will face an oil crisis never before seen. So yes, it is good to see a clear divide on what is causing global warming being either natural or non-natural but who cares because the world still needs to be better taken care of no matter which side your on.

  2. casey says:

Well, Christians should care, because the environmentalist policies put out by the secular world are destructive to human beings. More humans will die as the result of their policies. I’m all for taking care of the planet, but human beings are our first priority.

Another great post Casey! Did you see that interview Michael Chrichton did with Charlie Rose a while back? He had some really interesting things to say. He makes a good case for ‘consensus’ and ‘science’ not belonging together in the same sentence. You’ve probably already seen this, but if you haven’t it’s a great read… http://www.michaelcrichton.net/speech-ourenvironmentalfuture.html

Glad your comments are back up!

Thanks, childlife. I had heard of the speech/essay, but I never read it before. That’s excellent! I wish more people would read it.

  5. I still cant believe there are some people that deny global warming. So muvh more money and time should be spent by each and every government particularly the worst offending countries.

Im sure there is a list somewhere that displays the the countries that produce the most carbon and destroy the atmosphere.

    anyone?

  6. casey says:

Yes, because bureaucracy is the solution to all our problems. Send your money, and send it now! Global government, I mean global warming, is here!
