Thompson-Huckabee ticket in the works?
Fred Thompson was asked about the possibility of a Thompson-Huckabee ticket. At least he didn’t rule it out!

In some ways I think Huckabee is a bleeding heart liberal. I don’t think his policies would be the best for America’s future. However, he is a very intelligent and likable guy, and I think he would be a great VP for Thompson. Perhaps after 8 years of conservative influence and having to stick up for Thompson’s policies he’d become more fiscally conservative as well.

It is looking more like a Huckabee-Giuliani ticket.. I think Fred will probably sleep through the primaries. I am still liking Romney.. sort of

Methinks people may be “misunderestimating” Fred.

Dropping my guard for a minute.. the problem I have with both Fred and Mike is that they resemble President Bush in posture, demeanor and rhetoric.. okay.. guard back up.
