I attract some pretty strange people, and there are some pretty useless comments stored on my blog. I don't think it benefits anyone to let people post off-topic comments. Do you think it is a good thing to have the discussion go off on a tangent so that when people are searching for information on Google they come to your site and get taken on a wild goose chase? I welcome different opinions as long as they're on topic. After all, you can't have a discussion without different ideas.
